Catch Ch!x, Gauze, Leshen, Portrait of a Lady, Smallways, and Suede Effect on stage alongside a lineup of market vendors.

The Sydney based three-piece post-punk doomers in The Veil return to Newcastle to celebrate the launch of their album Departures. They are joined by local headliners The Loom of Time (PROG RIFF ANNIHILATION), Exsister (FEMININE RAGE DOOM) and Bellwether (NEWCASTLE POST DOOM - FIRST SHOW). Expect a night of melancholic, nihilistic dirge swirling between moments of existential beauty, crushing catharsis and riff driven tapestry.

Poltergeist 9000 brings hyper-energetic punk and industrial grit across two stages. Ponzi Scheme and smallways add cold guitar tones, brooding synth, and tense, hook-heavy noise. Gratitude rounds out the night with a fresh perspective on heavy rock.

The Naarm-based band returns with their sophomore EP, broadening their sonic and emotional scope. Expect ambitious songwriting and an uncompromising live show that pushes beyond contemporary post-punk boundaries.

Jamie Hay and Liam White return after a national tour for their record Sunset Months, joined by mandolin and acoustic guitar player Mark Jennings. They are sharing the night with Dave Wells, Demi Mitchell, and Chris Wash and the Gibberish Collective for a heavy dose of folk, rock, and punk storytelling.

The Dave Rumbler Band brings out a special alternate set with brand-new songs. Expect faster, dirtier and heavier tunes with psychobilly, punk rock and dive-bar rock and roll.

Angular pop from The PeeWee 50s and a solo set from Nic Roser join the bill for a night of rock and a few beers.

Stabbitha and the Knifey Wifeys launch a new album born from everyday frustrations. Beneath the distortion, the songs offer a deeply personal and surprisingly uplifting take on survival, loss and punk.

Swedish metalcore band Thrown return for their biggest Australian tour yet. They are joined by Boundaries, 156/Silence, and Newcastle's own Volatile Ways.

Utah melodic skate-punk band Bridge The Gap brings their fast guitars and big hooks down under for the very first time. They are joined by labelmates All Hope Remains to share songs from their third full-length album, Rule of Threes.
